Afterworld

I have been pretty busy in school lately. But somehow I found the time to illustrate a danish Sci/fi superhero novel written by Emil Blichfeldt, Calibat.  The book is in danish and hopefully it'll be out at Copenhagen Comics in a couple of weeks, for a very reasonable price. The story takes place in the same univers as the Jonni Necronic books.

I really got to push myself on this since the deadline was pretty tight ( a month) and I had to do it in the afterschool hours. So I've haven't had time to post as much.

I've also just finished the outline for my first larger comicbook 150+ pages in school. The first 10 pages have to be done in 2 weeks so I'll have some more stuff to show soon.

There might be some minor spoilers in the illustrations

Running wild

I'm really busy at the moment so it's been a while since I've posted anything, so here is some one page comics I did a couple of weeks ago. The drawing was made during a workshop with Aidan Koch and it was nice to experiment a bit and do some traditional stuff.

Mythos ABC

I just finished my contribution to a mythos ABC book for kids and other people who like to add tentacles to their alfabet. The main reason of the book is of course to teach young people which sections of the library corridors to get lost in. All told in rhymes by the danish stand-up comedian Mads Brynnum.

Unlike the old ones we also care about the english speaking cultists of tomorrow. This of course means that the Mythos ABC book will be available in both Danish and English.

Storyboarding w. Dirk van Dulmen

Here's the result of a 1 week storyboard workshop. This is the final animatic made in the last 2 days together with my classmate Bob Lundgreen. It's pretty insane but it was fun to make.

Weekend assignment w. Ed Piskor

Here's two narrative versions of a strip based on the Burst girl world I'm working on. I wanted a sort of old school narrative like Hal Foster's Prince Valiant telling the story with narration only. I also experimented  with a narration that was boiled down to only hinting at the narrative and mood. The next assignment is 4 pages and a coverposter for friday morning.
